The BUNDERGROUND RAILROAD functions best when there are many dedicated volunteer Conductors and State Coordinators spread throughout the USA. BGRR volunteers are called upon only in times of emergency and when a transport route is located in their geographic area. Can you spare some time to help transport rabbits to safety? Please read BGRR's principles, policies, and procedures, and the volunteer agreement form below.

Your paperwork will be reviewed and upon acceptance, a volunteer packet will be mailed to you.

A VOLUNTEER CONDUCTOR

FOR THE BUNDERGROUND RAILROAD

RABBITWISE®'S BUNDERGROUND RAILROAD VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT

In consideration of RabbitWise®'s Bunderground Railroad (RW's BGRR) offering me this opportunity, and if I become a volunteer, I agree to the following terms and conditions, intending to be bound by them:

1. I will abide by the mission, rules, regulations, policies, and programs of RW's BGRR while I am a volunteer.

2. I assume the risks of being bitten, scratched, injured, or frightened by the rabbits in connection with my volunteer work for RW's BGRR. RW's BGRR is not liable to me for injuries, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, costs, or expenses whatsoever which I might suffer or sustain in connection with the performance of my volunteer activities for RW's BGRR or while on the premises of another organization or in route from one organization to another, or in route to and from that organization. I will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RW's BGRR from and against any claims, lawsuits, injuries, damages, losses, costs, or expenses whatsoever sustained by any animal or person in connection with my intentional misconduct or negligent performance of volunteer activities for RW's BGRR, or my breach of RW's BGRR's rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, procedures, and programs.

3. I understand and agree that RW's BGRR may refuse volunteer applications for any reasons or cease to use a volunteer's services for any reason.

4. I authorize the person who referred me to RW's BGRR to release information about my prior volunteer performance records and/or oral reports about my volunteer performance.

5. I attest and affirm that I have never been charged and/or convicted of animal neglect, abuse, and/or cruelty in any state of the USA.

6. I agree to abide by the copyright protections of all RabbitWise® and RW's BGRR's materials and use only in the course of my volunteer work with RabbitWise and RW's BGRR.

7. I agree to abide by the privacy protections established to protect the personal information of other volunteers in both RabbitWise® and RabbitWise®'s Bunderground Railroad and not use any contact information for any other purpose other than established by RabbitWise® and RW's BGRR.

6. I have accurately and truthfully completed this Volunteer Application and agreement.
